Dr. McKinley is a medical anthropologist who specializes in the social determinants of mental health and Indigenous youth suicide prevention in Ontario, Canada. He is Assistant Professor in the Schulich Interfaculty Program in Public Health where he teaches Social and Cultural Determinants of Health and Indigenous Health. He is an active member of the Indigenous Youth Futures Partnership Program, and is a member of the Walpole Island First Nation/Western University Ecosystem Health Research Team.
